Published in March 2026, Season 1 of the Cultural Playbook is a human-curated, AI-assisted ranking of 50 works across books, films, TV, music, art, and video games. The list ranks cultural penetration over prestige: how deeply a work embedded itself in everyday English-speaking life through phrases, imagery, melodies, memes, rituals, and character types. It is intentionally subjective, cross-media, and frozen once published.
Publishing rule: seasons are frozen editions. Add new files for future seasons; do not reshuffle published ones.
